About Work

Start: Concept & Pre-Production

Some projects hit close to home—and this one was personal. Years ago, Chris “Breezy” Brown was the go-to guy for tinting Donovan Brown Jr.’s vehicles. Back then, Chris would talk often about his vision of opening his own custom auto styling shop. Fast forward a few years, and that vision became reality. Reconnecting with Chris and seeing his dream realized made this commercial more than just a shoot—it was a full-circle creative collaboration.

We began by discussing what makes Chris Breezy Customs unique: his attention to detail, his commitment to preserving paint quality, and the precision of his tinting and protective services. Our goal was to create a short, high-energy video that not only highlighted the process, but told the story of a local entrepreneur who turned a hustle into a full-fledged brand. We storyboarded a concept that felt cinematic but real—something that would resonate with car owners and inspire dreamers.

Pre-production included:

  • Brand story development + messaging strategy
  • On-site planning walkthrough of the shop and workflow
  • Script structure based on the customer journey (walk-in to drive-out)
  • Shot list built around lighting the vehicle stages (prep, clean, coat, cure)

Professional Video Filming and Production

Build: Production

Shot on-location at Chris Breezy Customs in Atlanta, GA, the production captured real-time footage of Chris and his team working their craft. We used cinematic B-roll to show the prep process, paint protection methods, and the shine of the final product under controlled lighting.

To bring Chris’s personality into the spotlight, we included lighthearted dialogue and a candid intro scene that set the tone—authentic, down-to-earth, and professional. The mix of slow-motion rollers, macro shots of the detailing process, and wide-angle pans helped us visually communicate both quality and culture. The shoot reflected the brand: clean, bold, and full of character.

Production highlights included:

  • Dynamic transitions between stages of the service process
  • Natural lighting plus LED bounce lighting for interior car shots
  • Action shots of the wash-down, wrap, and protective coating application
  • Custom audio capture for tools, sprays, and background ambiance

Creative Video Editing and Post-production

Polish: Post-Production

In post, we leaned into a crisp, urban feel—using contrast-rich color grading and punchy edits to create a video that matched the energy of Chris’s shop. We synced footage to a track that brought out both grit and drive, cutting between quick transitions and slow-reveal moments of the finished car.

To balance inspiration with information, we layered in branded text callouts and subtle lower-thirds that explained the steps in Chris Breezy’s process. Visual effects were minimal but intentional—focused on motion flow and brightness around the final vehicle presentation.

Post-production deliverables included:

  • 60-second commercial cut for web & social
  • Vertical trailer (15-second reel format)
  • Brand-aligned color correction with rich contrast and depth
  • Logo animations and transition overlays
